Appearance: Attractive violet colour in the glass.
Nose: Powerful red fruit plus whispers of ripe stone fruit. Silky hints oaky like brunt sugar and vanilla.
Taste: It is delicate and fresh and it has an excellent balance between acidity and alcohol.
Verónica Salgado is a velvety red wine pairs very well with meat, setas mushrooms, rice and cheese.
Verónica Salgado Capricho Crianza (Breeding)
Tasting note
Variety: Tinta del Pais (country red wine).
Type of soil: Clay – limestone.
Ageing process: This wine has aged for 36 months (12 months in new oak casks and 18 more in its own bottle).
Appearance: Garnet and ruby colour.
Nose: Intense red fruit with hints of cherry and forest fruit. Spices like black pepper, lavender, clove and toasted sugar.
Taste: The wine’s structure is set on fine tannins, dry fruit soft notes of roasted coffee, cinnamon and black chocolate with an elegant charm.
Crianza is the perfect match for all red meats, fragrant stews and game dishes.
Verónica Salgado Capricho Reserva (Reserve)

Variety: Tinta del Pais (country red wine).
Type of soil: Clay – limestone.
Ageing process: This wine has aged 12 months in new oak casks and 24 more in its own bottle: Crianza is the perfect match for all red meats, fragrant stews and game dishes.
Appearance: Intense ruby colour.
Nose: Candied fruits. Caramel, licorice and cloves.
Taste: Fine, with good acidity and good volume on the palate.
This Capricho reserves pairs with fatty fish, red meat and sausages.
Verónica Salgado Capricho Viñas Viejas
Vino de Autor (Old vineyards)
Tasting note
Variety: Viñas Viejas comes from a single plot of Tinto Fino call Pago del Moral. The vines were planted in 1950.
Type of soil: Gravel soils intermixed with clay.
Ageing process: Ageing process: After having gone through malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 4 years. (12 months in new oak casks and 36 more in its own bottle).
Appearance: Bigarreau cherry color with great depth.
Nose: Complex aromas balsams intertwined with hints of forest fruit and dried plums. Balanced with teriary aromas, cocoa, licorice and toffe.
Taste: Sweet red fruit, soft spice and silky tannins produce an elegant charm.
